The Pets and The Peeves

Hey everybody!!! Hope all of you are having a wonderful week!!! Me? Not quite as good as I would have liked. Sometimes I overthink things and it gets the best of me. I often wonder if I had a twin hooker if he would feel my struggle!!! LOL!!!

 

You know what really bothers me? I hate feeling dumbed down. I hate how there are individuals out there who feel the need to explain things to others in a "simple" manner when we didn't need to be told in the first place!!! Want to know why?!!! WE ALREADY KNEW BEFORE YOU EVEN EXPLAINED IT TO US EINSTEIN!!! GO TO THE CORNER!!! LOL!!! There is method in my madness (Hamlet), but being a Ginger can be downright difficult!!!

 

Thank goodness for this blog and WRITING PERIOD!!! Sometimes you got to let these things flow out of you...like Gangnam Style (don't get me started on this haha).

 

The Costa Rica trip is coming up!!! So excited!!! Weeeee!!! Glad to go with my wonderful friends!!! I'll be sure to catch up on a couple episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County since they went to Costa Rica back in Season 7. And in school, we're reading one of the best books of all time!!! AND THEN THERE WERE NONE (by Agatha Christie!!!)!!! I'm so excited to read it yet again!!!

 

Sorry for the back and forth in this edition of my blog. I felt the need to let things out more than Taylor Swift talking about ex-boyfriends!!! LOL!!!

Housewives, School, and Easter

Hi everybody!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!!! Eat those bunnies!!! Yum!!!

Have you heard the recent controversy over my precious Real Housewives? Well, let me spill the tea, darling!!! On Part 1 of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta Reunion, there was a fight between 2 of the women on set. Porsha Williams pulled Kenya Moore's hair and dragged her to the ground and across the floor!!! Oh snap!!! Many people are blaming Kenya for the fight in the first place but my thing is this: WHY THE VIOLENCE!!! This whole thing could have been prevented!!! Why did an innocent, dramatic show turn into a brawlfest?! It's sad that people have to see the worst in others and not embrace the good. Embrace the good darn it!!! But oh well!!! Let the drama continue!!!

 

School is almost over for me. 5 more weeks!!! It's crazy!!! It's insane!!! And I haven't even had my Coca-Cola yet!!! LOL!!! I'll update you more on that...LATER ON!!! Hahaha

 

Easter was such a blessing this year!!!

I got to surprise my wonder friends (who are my family anyway, but sometimes the internet is soooo sensitive when it comes to those terms). A beautiful lady once said "The best gift you can give someone is your time." Hehe Love you, Denise!!! :)

That's all I have for now!!! But I'll do my darnedest to do more posts!!! Darn you life for getting in my life!!! Haha!!!

Hey everybody!!! Hope everyone had a fantastic week!!!

School, as many of you know, can be stressful.

But that is ok. Sometimes you have to go through the rough spots to get to the smooth ones.

Anyone listen to good music lately? I heard this song called "Pulses" by Karmin. It has a killer beat!!! Check it out (I'll post a link below)!!! Anyone check the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion earlier this week? Didn't have as much drama as I hoped, but there are two more parts so....TO BE CONTINUED!!! Oh Snap!!!

I would like to talk about the other Real Housewives eventually but it'll have to wait for now.

Anyone see that nun sing on The Voice what a talent!!! It even made a judge cry!!! Deep stuff, man!!!

I'm so happy winter is finally deciding to step down for the season. It was time for a change!!!

I recently saw The Phantom Of The Opera last week and it was amazing!!! My only minor criticism is that the Christine character didn't hit a high enough note on the "Phantom of the Opera" songg. I was hoping to get goose bumps but instead got weird bumps!!! Sha-Zam!!! But then again, what do I know about performing? Anything can happen on stage!!!

EXAM WEEK

Exam week!!! Oh no!!! How can I live!!! LOL
Exam week has actually been so kind to me...so far anyway haha!!!
Surprisingly enough, I've stayed positive!!! Bam!!! Wahoo!!!
I have a feeling my first set of exams went pretty well.
They were over Food & Technology and Statistics (Oh Snap).
I apologize for being all over the place...I had some weird pizza. LOL O.o
Anyway, to prepare for my exams (besides studying), I listened to artists like Sarah Brightman and ReVamp!!! Their music just gives me life and the relaxation that my mind needed for the exams.
I also watched some classic skits from one of my favorite comedy shows of all time, Madtv.
Anyway, I have 2 more exams for tomorrow and then it'll be time for the 3rd trimester. Yay!!!

Artists That Give Me Orgasmic...Proportions Part 1

Hello once again!!! I have a new thing to talk about!!! You ready? You sure about this? TOO BAD!!!

I want to talk about music artists that give me music ORGASMS!!! Why me you may ask? Because it's my blog!!! Duh!!! LOL

Anyway...one of the bands I want to talk about is a Dutch band called After Forever. They are a symphonic metal. In case you are confused, symphonic metal is metal that incorporates elements of opera and orchestral music. Symphonic metal occasionally has death growl vocals as well.  Who would have thought that was possible? Oh wait, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! That's my life lesson for the day!!! LOL

Back to the band. The band formed in 1995 but didn't officially release music until 1999. Then, they released their first album in 2000 called Prison of Desire. A year later, they released Decipher. In 2004, they would then release their 1st and only concept album, Invisible Circles. A year after that, they released Remagine. Finally, in 2007, they released a self-titled album.....this album would be their last.

Yeah they disbanded (they felt they had no more energy to give to the band), but that is not the point!!! Their music lives on!!! Their music gives me everything!!! Opera. Metal. Drama. Covers. Floor Jansen!!! Let's talk about her for a second.

Floor Jansen was the lead vocalist for the band (duh). Her vocal power is beyond insane!!! She can sing a phone book and still make interesting and bad ass!!! BETTY WHITE WOULD ADOPT HER!!! LOL She's that awesome!!! I believe it was Floor who made the band what it was. If it wasn't for her, the band would be nothing!!! The music wouldn't have been made if the guys didn't make the music they did to fit Floor's beautiful voice!!! Floor, Floor, Floor!!! Wahoo!!!

The band is plain and simply fantastic!!! I love all their songs!!! They will live on!!! Floor Jansen is not done with music by the way!!! She is currently in two bands. She is in her own self-made band ReVamp (check them out!!!), and she is also in the successful Finland act, Nightwish (also check them out!!!) Beverly Hills Darling!!! Sticking Up Against A Favorite

Hey everybody!!! Hope everyone's week started off right...ish!!! LOL I feel that it is time to discusss...The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!!! Oh Snap!!!

Here is what I don't get...what is wrong with talking with a friend about issues? If you are truly friends with someone and have issues with them, would it not be logical to talk about it with them? On the show there is Lisa, the fun Brit. People on and off the show seem to give her this Queen Bee persona and almost untouchable air about her. Why? Yeah she's funny, but that doesn't mean she's better than anyone else on the show. Sure she's been on since Season 1, but so have Kim and Kyle Richards.

Back to where I was getting at. Lisa has issues with almost everyone on the show. She has some deep problem with Kyle, dismisses Kim (a lot), has a boundary problem with Brandi, and has different friendship standards with Yolanda. The main issue with all the women in my opinion? LISA!!! BAM!!! SHAZAM!!! I know you're shocked (if you're a Housewives' fan like I am lol).

Here's my thing: Lisa seems to throw digs at everybody, but when it comes to face to face, Lisa can't take it...AT ALL!!! Lisa stirs the pot just enough and she just dodges any situation. I find that she can be very calculative. Do I think she is a bad person? No. I think she does this to get ratings for the show. If you don't believe me, watch her spin off Vanderpump Rules. She keeps all her workers on the show not because they're good employees but because they make good dramatic T.V. drama.

Lisa can't handle the fact that she can be the problem too. She wants to be fake on camera and give fans her good side and not show her "naughty" side when she faces the girls. For now, it seems to be working. People seem to favor Lisa over all the Beverly Hills Housewives. However, maybe people can see other characters on the show as new favorites. Kim Richards is my favorite. After her battle with alcoholism, she is finally finding her way in life and she is freaking funny!!! I can't get enough of her!!! Just a food for thought my reality show addicts!!! Hahaha

Here We Go Again.....Ohhhhhh Noooooo

I'm back!!!

You weren't expecting it. No one saw it coming....except me!!! LOL Hope everyone is doing ok since my absence. I apologize for not writing in such a long time. I had an apocalyptic writer's block. Yeah, very bad haha!!!

Have any of you felt that you told someone important to you that they're making a mistake? A disaster in the making? The ultimate kill? Well that happened nearly two years ago to me. I was made out to be the bad guy all because I had a bad feeling about a situation...and years later I WAS RIGHT!!!

Damn, I can't help but have these feelings of anger and disappointment. It always happens with me. I have a six sense for crap about to happen and no one listens to me? Is there something wrong with me? Can I get a gold medal for putting up with shit (pardon my hooker French)?

On a positive note, I'm super excited for March to get here. I will be going to see Phantom of The Opera with my Drama Club!!! Yay!!! I love musicals!!! Also, I recently got all my paperwork for a passport. I will be going to Costa Rica in June!!! Weeeee!!! Isn't that awesome!!! Don't answer that because I know it is!!! LOL
